Amy Marshall serves as the Co-Owner of Management Business Solutions, an executive recruiting firm headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI. With nearly 15 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry, Amy has established herself as a leader, specializing in developing diversity recruitment initiatives and strategically implementing workforce pipeline development plans for clients. Her extensive recruitment and placement expertise encompasses a broad geographic scope, spanning the State of Michigan, regional areas, and the national landscape. Amy has successfully navigated various industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, construction, government, and non-profits, addressing roles ranging from office administration to executive positions. Assuming the role of co-owner in 2014, Amy has played a pivotal role in steering business development, formulating internal policies and procedures, and cultivating a dynamic team of recruiters through a rigorous internship program. In 2020, Amy introduced a new arm to MBS, founding CROSSROADS Career Consulting. This division is dedicated to guiding candidates and job seekers through pivotal career transitions, addressing both internal and external barriers to employment or advancement. Amy personally oversees one-on-one sessions covering essential topics such as Optimizing LinkedIn Profiles, Interview Preparation, Salary Negotiation, Resume Writing, etc. Her commitment to customized staffing solutions extends to each individual, as she tailors plans to optimize their job search. Beyond her professional commitments, Amy is deeply engaged in the Wyoming/Grand Rapids Community. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA SpartanNash, Human Resources Group of West Michigan, the Michigan Career Development Association, and the Maria Lida Foundation. Amy also devotes her time to volunteer work, collaborating with local organizations such as Our Community’s Children, where she designs workshops for Resume Writing, Cover Letter Writing, and Mock Interviews to nurture youth development for future employment opportunities.
