About Amy Milner

All advocacy is, at its core, an exercise in empathy."- Samantha PowerI have spent nearly half of my life dedicated to showing empathy and love to children, particularly those in the most vulnerable situations. Recently, through work in education, local government, and higher education in policy and psychology, I am able to extend that empathy to a larger base, working to make systematic change for vulnerable children. As an external affairs associate working in the non-profit sector I am working to ensure that all children, have access to equitable education, caring adults and loving supports. I want to continue throughout my career to make an often dark and scary world, brighter for our most vulnerable little ones.
