Award-winning and experienced leader of medium-sized to large high-performance teams. Demonstrated a history of achieving growth in both business and sports. Skilled in management with proven experience in Business Development/Sports/Key Account management and a high capacity for bringing teams together toward ambitious and complex goals. Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and passion for developing great people to deliver top performances. Business Studies from Jönköping International Business School (SWE) and Leadership Studies from the University of Melbourne - Melbourne Business School (AUS). My experience from the last six Olympic Summer games ranges, I competed in four games, was an executive board member for the International Canoe Federation in Rio, and led the Canadian Canoe / Kayak athletes to medals in Tokyo and Paris as head coach. Other significant sports experiences include four years in sailing, training, developing, and competing for the 2017 Bermuda America’s Cup and 2021 Americas Cup in Auckland, NZ. I am passionate about the process behind excellence and have a solid strategic compass. I’m good at building teams that work in systems toward excellence. I have a sense of business, branding, and entrepreneurial skills; I have run my private clothing label “AG79” since 2010. I am an excellent collaborator but also like working independently if that is what it takes.
