About Andrea de Gennaro

After 26 years in the Project Control Department, mainly as ‘Project Control Manager’, I chose to change the Department to ‘Proposal and Estimation’ with the role of ‘Senior Proposal Estimator & Planning (EPC & Pipeline)’. I use my experience and knowledge of plants to process the estimations (quantity, hours and economic amounts), schedules and reporting required for tenders: both EPC and pipeline. When required I use my previous experience to interface with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations. I have an in-depth knowledge of how to budget a project, therefore when preparing the technical/economic analysis and the preparation of a tender programme, I analyse every aspect, based on the documents provided by the client supplementing them with notions learnt from direct experience on the various construction sites where I have worked. In addition, I use my excellent knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel, to process tender documents, both to transform them into the formats required by the company tools and for direct data processing. My strengths are versatility, adaptability and communication. My major skills are: knowledge of planning and control processes, understand the process of the tender and produce the required documents on time. I am capable to work within a team organizing the “to do / to whom” task list. Willingness to travel across the country or internationally.
