Background
About Andreea Dumitru
A dynamic and passionate educator with 14 years of experience in universities, foreign language schools, and vocational institutions. I have taught English in vocational schools following the Dutch curriculum and literacy to children in alignment with the American curriculum. My teaching expertise covers English as a Foreign Language (EFL), English as a Second Language (ESL), academic English at the university level, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to conservatory students and emergency care professionals, as well as Business English for various companies. In addition to teaching, I have been responsible for training teachers, curriculum design, and lesson planning. I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive, non-judgmental learning environment where students thrive. By embracing innovative, forward-thinking teaching methods, I aim to drive both personal and academic growth, creating meaningful connections that inspire student success and unlock their full potential. My areas of interest include sociolinguistics, phonology, multilingualism, and pedagogy.
