About Andrew Figgins

General Counsel at Rezolv, an experienced independent renewable energy producer building a new era of sustainable power for Central and South Eastern Europe. Rezolv takes projects from late-stage development through construction and into long-term operation. We provide clean energy at long-term stable prices for industrial & commercial users, and other off-takers, operating across the region. I have extensive experience in advising on major capital projects and international transactions in emerging markets, through the full energy value chain, and also in the construction, transport and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Rezolv, I was MENA Region General Counsel at Fortescue Energy, and Country Manager in Oman, and later, in Morocco. Before that I was the Managing Partner of Dentons office in Muscat and led their Energy & Projects team. Prior to Dentons I was General Counsel with government-owned Oman Shipping Company SAOC where I set up the company's Legal department and was a member of the executive management team. Previously I worked and lived in a number of countries as in-house counsel for BP. During these 12 years I worked on international upstream projects and related pipeline & processing infrastructure development & operations; as well as the wide range of commercial matters arising on major energy projects. My family and I were lucky enough to make Oman our home between 2008-2023. Our 3 children (aka ‘The Figlets’) are my focus and inspiration. I relax by spending time in nature and by following the adventures of Bath Rugby (COYB!) and Portsmouth FC (PUP!).
