Passionate about using my creativity and problem solving skills to make a positive impact while learning and teaching those around me. I’m seeking Innovation and Product Research and Development roles at top sports, healthcare organizations, tech startups and am the perfect fit because I have the following skills: biomechanics, musculoskeletal science, project management, regulatory acumen, engineering, data collection and analysis and statistics, quality assurance and validation, and cross-functional collaboration. I have an innovative mindset, strategic thinking, team collaboration, and over 16 years of experience among diverse research projects across rehabilitation, orthopaedics, and sports medicine, resulting in 24 publications. In addition, I have the following qualifications: Versatile, creative and passionate engineer and scientist supporting innovation shown by $105,663 in funding and in equity at Hospital for Special Surgery. Ability to lead within and across an organization and navigate multiple disciplines gained through supporting over 50 diverse translational projects and studies shown by co-authoring 53 abstracts and presentations at national and international conferences. Significant expertise in dataset design and analyzing complex data sources to synthesize trends across subjective, clinical, and functional metrics as evidenced by 2 first-author papers on basketball patellar tendinopathy biomechanics in the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine. Understanding interdependencies of contributing factors gained by planning a novel pilot study to assess athlete cutting biomechanics resulting in a reputed sport medicine award including 2 abstracts accepted to the 7th IOC World Conference. Leadership, risk-taking, and drive to succeed shown by winning a reputed $75,663 innovation grant proposal to study the feasibility and validity of deformable cleats as an injury prevention technology, leading to 1 patent. Technical acumen shown by optimizing an overground running model on 20 adults to validate a method of quantifying runner kinetics leading to first-author publication.
