About Andrew Sexton

A motivated Chartered Accountant with a double degree in Bachelor Accounting and Bachelor Banking and Finance. Andrew is a dynamic team player with advanced excel skills and an experience working in global organisations. He is currently a 1st line partner in the CAO office as the Outsourcing Framework Manager where he is responsible for the oversight of third party vendor and related body corporate outsourcing arrangements under Prudential Standard CPS231 Outsourcing and the implementation of the regulatory change under CPS230 (1 July 2025). This overnight extends to asset servicing operations, third party vendor, related body corporate and Corporate Groups. He is experienced in all aspects of management reporting and financial reporting and leading teams within these areas. Key experiences include, preparation and review of financial statements, budgeting, month end processes and reconciliations, liquidity reporting, accounts payable/ receivable, regulatory reporting both locally and internationally, business forecasting, branch reporting, indirect allocations and a plethora of other accountant based tasks. In addition, he worked many years as an auditor locally and internationally (secondment) on a broad range of clients including those listed on the ASX and NASDAQ. I have experience as a lead in client implementations for financial reporting and tax and the governance around these and responding to client needs as circumstances change. These experiences have culminated in having strong analytical skills in interpreting financial and non financial information. Andrew has an excellent ability in interpreting legislation, communicating with business stakeholders and external regulators from a top down level.
