About Ramee Vidane

In addition to my Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, I have a bachelors in Information Systems and Management. I began my career in Marketing and Administration, where I have proven to be highly organised with problem-solving skills. Working with young children and supporting children with additional needs has always been my passion and it seemed like a natural progression for me to pursue my career in Early Childhood Education. Hence, I completed Professional Certificate in Education Support and worked as an Additional Kindergarten Assistant for 3 years. Currently, I work as an ECT assistant in a stand-alone kindergarten, where I have introduced visual timetables and other visual aids to address challenging behaviours in young children. My experience working in Early Childhood Education has taught me the importance of building positive relationships with children and their families. My personal philosophy has been strongly influenced by my background working in Kindergarten Inclusion Support Program, where I aim to create an inclusive play-based learning environment for all children. My teaching philosophy is strongly influenced by the educational principles of Reggio Emilia, where children are offered opportunities to explore through child-led and experimental learning.
