About Andrew Vadas

I have worked in video production for over 20 years. That might not sound impressive until you learn that I'm in my mid 30's. Ever since working in community access television in high school, I fell in love. I love the planning, the setting up, the filming, and the editing. The finished product is a happy accident. I love watching television about making television (Studio 60 in the Sunset Strip and Newsroom). I nerd out about the new cameras and the new things these cameras can do. I'm fascinated about the new technology for video and sound production. My favorite hobby is photography because I get to play around with cameras.This love for video technology translated to technical support and repairs almost to well. There are many times where I would work as an IT administrator while still working in video production. The majority of my most recent work experience have been working as a freelancer. I find that as good as I am at video production, I'm equally as bad at selling myself. This has led to working multiple jobs in retail to make a living while trying to get freelance work. Working retail has definitely helped with customer service and my communication skills, but has also pulled me away from my passion of video production, so I am currently looking to fill a role for a company that needs a video nerd with the experience to help in any way necessary.I'm always looking to grow my personal and professional network.
