About Andy Hamilton

Focusing on sustainable design Andy's range of projects include alternative transportation design, advocacy and implementation, sustainable community design and integration of alternative transportation into communities. Andy is the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the September 11th National Memorial Trail, serves as the co-chair of the Pennsylvania Committee of the East Coast Greenway and as the Vice Chair of the Bucks County Bicycle Task Force. Additionally Andy is a member of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Trail Advisory Committee. In the recent past Andy completed developing the King of Prussia Business Improvement District, the largest BID in America and a regional Compatible Economic Development study for the Schuylkill Highlands that covers 324 square miles in 3 Counties and a Transit Revitalization Improvement District plan for Ambler Borough. Throughout all of his work a common theme is creating places that people want to be and celebrating the communities that he works with. Specialties: Bicycle and pedestrian mobility planning and advocacy, urban design, and traditional neighborhood design.
