I am a hard working individual who gives 100% in everything I do. I strive to achieve the highhest possible goals. I am a determined, dedicated person and dependable person who is great at time managment. I am able to handle multiple task on a daily basis. I enjoy Mountain biking and different disciplines of running. In my day to day I Implement strategies, programmes, enforcement and action plans in accordance with the principles of Municipal Health Services ( as defined in the National Health Act, 61 of 2003) that are in line with the Provincial and National Health Plan, the IDP, City Health Business Plan and legislation to ensure an effective Municipal Health Service is rendered.) These are the main functions of my day to day operations: Managing a team of Environmental Health Practitioners within the Area Central Tygerberg Sub District. Water quality monitoring, Food Control, Waste management, Health surveillance of premises, Surveillance and prevention of communicable diseases, Noise Control. Disposal of the dead, Planning and building development, Environmental Pollution Control, Safe handling of chemical substances, Health promotion and investigation of complaints, informal settlement monitoring and delivery of services.
