Background
About Ann Grace MacMullan
Over the last 4 years I have had the pleasure of creating an integrative wellness curriculum for the IWMF, to support those affected by the rare lymphoma, Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia. My father was diagnosed with WM in 2019. With classes and webinars in mind-body, fitness, nutrition, meditation, relaxation guidance and more, this unique and comprehensive program addresses the lived experience of this blood cancer, and aims to improve quality of life and patient outdcomes. The most surprising by-product of this program is the robust wellness community that has developed as a result! I also have the pleasure of teaching in this role. An E-RYT 500 certified yoga instructor and C-IAYT certified yoga therapist, I've been joyfully sharing the gift of yoga in community, corporate, private, and healthcare settings since 2015, with a wide range of students of all mobility levels and ages. I especially enjoy providing tools to help navigate chronic illness and support aging gracefully. Through creating accessible, holistic sessions that include physical postures, breath-work and meditation, I hope to spread the message that yoga is a state of being, not a posture - and it’s for every Body. If you can breathe, you can do yoga! I truly enjoy creating trauma-informed, safe spaces for rest and healing, and guiding diverse and special populations towards personal transformation in body, mind, and spirit. I am proud to be a part of building caring communities of empowered individuals seeking their own well-being. I am also trained in sound healing and utilize Himalayan singing bowls when appriopriate.
