As the Chief Executive Officer and Director of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), I provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for one of Asia's leading tertiary institutions in performing arts education. With over 35 years of experience as a multi-award-winning artist, scholar, and administrator, my career is dedicated to advancing the arts through education, performance, and international collaboration. My core mission is to nurture the next generation of creative talent and solidify Hong Kong's position as a global hub for artistic exchange. My key focus areas include: · Providing overall management and academic leadership, ensuring excellence across HKAPA's six schools. · Building strategic international partnerships and fostering strong industry liaisons. · Championing innovation through sustainable arts practices and emerging technologies like AI and VR. · Guiding the Academy's strategic growth and influence within the Greater Bay Area and beyond. My previous leadership roles—including Dean of the School of Dance at HKAPA and the inaugural Head of Dance at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority - have equipped me with a deep understanding of how to develop programs and spearhead initiatives that bridge creativity with meaningful social impact.
