About Anna Dobai

Consultant and Filmmaker - I have worked with international development and humanitarian organizations (including DFID, Red Cross, ActionAid, UNICEF, VSO and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance) based in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe, holding several managerial positions, including deputy head of a regional office. I have been consulting since mid-2007. I am a generalist, with broad management and programme experience to offer, including evaluation/review, strategy development/implementation, programme development and management review, partnership & cooperation, planning and facilitation of meetings, organizational development and capacity building and training. I can work in English, Spanish and French. I finished a masters degree in documentary film practice in 2010 exploring how best to use film in development/humanitarian work to tell stories, document good practice, promote accountability and ownership, etc. I am now incorporating film, where appropriate, into work I undertake.
