About Anna Goodman

Anna is a Foreign Service Officer with USAID currently serving in West Africa. Anna is passionate about conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and human rights, and building a career based on public service. Anna designs and manages programming focused on countering violent extremism, human trafficking, and gender-based violence. Anna has a background and technical expertise across Asia and West Africa in program design and evaluation; conflict prevention and post-conflict stabilization; digital democracy; mis/dis/malinformation; women, peace, and security; gender mainstreaming, marginalized populations, and training facilitation. Anna has strong research and analytical skills with experience leading studies in the field, including in Myanmar (Burma) and Ukraine. Anna is a trusted manager and colleague, using interpersonal and cross-cultural skills to lead international teams, and has taught both children in D.C. and youth in Myanmar how to manage conflict and promote diversity in both their public and personal lives. Anna has Top Secret security clearance.
