MY PASSION: Helping organizations understand complex business processes to develop risk mitigation strategies, optimize controls that provide balance between value and cost. Developing people and guiding business transformation along the maturity continuum through structured project management, key milestones, and measured key performance indicators. Cultivating relationship with people at work to enhance business process effectiveness and in my community to build a sense of belonging. THE GAP IN THE MARKET: Finance have never been more complex than in today’s global economy- providing accurate on-demand reporting to assist in making strategic decisions- addressing increasing regulatory demands from the securities exchange commission- navigating new financial reporting standards- ever changing system enhancements to protect against increasing fraud and cyber scenarios, while maintaining or reducing costs. Ultimately improved financial processes are really what it’s about; resulting in quicker strategic decision turning into profits, more accurate forecasts, less impactful audits, better internal control, improve ability to invest. MY ROLE: As a strategic finance leader with extensive experience in; process re-design, control framework development and execution, audit, risk & derivative analysis, reporting, and tax. I have demonstrated this by liaising with IT delivery teams, including risk assessment, document business processes, and defining requirements. I applied my experience in the use of various accounting systems, audit command language tools, financial analysis operating models, governance risk and compliance tools, while aligning with organizational culture and goals. MY STYLE: Acknowledged for building effective business relationships, strong analytical skills, curious, and a questioning attitude, while still having fun in a business environment.
