Background

About Anne Duffield

I have 30 years of experience in operational and strategic housing management with 20 years at a senior level. I currently lead a team that administers our operational and strategic Manchester Move choice based lettings and Housing Access service across the City; a partnership of 15 RPs and the City Council. My work includes developing partnerships and opportunities across other complementary services such as health, especially around services for older people, those at risk of homelessness, that need adaptations and care leavers. Delivering efficient public services and value for money for both customers and RPs is at the heart of what I do alongside keeping abreast of the changing strategic landscape in Greater Manchester. The Our Manchester Strategy and behaviours sit at the heart of our work. My unique position as having been an elected councillor for 10 years and Chair of Licensing in Trafford gives me insight on both sides of Local Government which adds real value to my work within Greater Manchester.
