Motivated in work environment, enthusiastic, love to work in a team, strong leadership skills, outgoing, speak my mind, Law driven, good communicator, i believe live is what you make of it, you need to set you out to reach goals, and is never to old to learn. Hard-work and long hours always pays off no matter what, I had learned from the best Tinus Visser was my first mentor that saw my potential, Gerrie Boersma was my other mentor. They set to me to reach for the stars and i did, i wanted to proof to myself that i will make it and i can. I have a very positive outlook. Communications in any environment is what make a business. Team work is a necessity in any business to make it a successes as well as a splendid team spirit. Currently i am the Safety Officer for Selati Group. The challenges that i stumbled upon, the amendments in the Law, the corrective actions proofed to me that to make safety work you have to keep to your Disciplinary Proceedings be sticked to train employees safe working methods and to motivate employees to never stop learning. Safety of 250 employees is a challenge on its own, Safety is a tool and it is how you use the tool that employees can understand it and to see that it is there to protect them so that they in the end of the day can go home to there loved once and to know the environment were they work in is safe.( This will keep employees happy knowing they got that peace of mind) In this industry i am working in is a risky business, from little safety concerns to big once that might happen like combustible exploitations if regular inspections, housekeeping, and rules is not been followed. Currently i am also the Employment Equity Manager for the Selati Group and the Skills Development Manager. I had a few employees thanking me for training them and some who did say madam you you keep us safe. Just that make my day.
