About Anni Lindgren

I started out in journalism, drawn to the world and my desire to understand it better. Since then, my path has taken me through a wide range of roles in communications, eventually landing me in the world of foreign policy and international affairs. For the past five years, I’ve been working at the intersection of communications and international relations, with a focus on making complex political issues more accessible, engaging, and relevant. I am a Specialist at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and Helsinki Security Forum and spend my days working on a wide range of projects from podcasting to event comms, social media, and strategy. I’m passionate about storytelling, global issues, and the creative side of communication, especially when those things come together to foster meaningful public dialogue.
