About Annie Ramsbotham

As the Media Manager for Falling Creek Camp, Annie has experience in magazine editing, blog and article writing, social media management, video editing/creation, website management, and marketing. She is also a freelance watercolor illustrator under the name "Blue Bike In her free time she also makes YouTube videos about cycling/living in Japan and beyond, at "Anniewhere & Everywhere". Annie is passionate about cycling, and started a mountain bike program at an all-girls summer camp in 2017, after spending a couple summers working as a youth mountain bike instructor. Annie also founded Henderson County's youth NICA mountain bike team in North Carolina, the Henderson Hellbenders, where she was Head Coach for the first two seasons. She is an Appalachian State University Honors College Alumna, graduating in May 2018 with degrees in sociology and recreation management. Annie graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College, and earned the Recreation Management outstanding student award for that year. During her time in University, Annie was a Boone Area Cyclists board member for two years, and was a committee member organizing the annual CowBelle Classic women's cycling event. Annie is a previous Mentor at the Western Youth Network and was the President of the Appalachian State Cycling team for 2 years. Annie also interned at Carmichael Training Systems to learn about coaching for endurance athletes.
