Since 2003, English Adventure has delivered the fun and excitement of North American sleepover camp to campers right here in Japan-without the expensive plane ticket! Our full-featured camp programs in summer and winter take advantage of the most beautiful outdoor sites in Japan, introducing young people to nature in a safe, professionally managed camp environment. For English-speaking campers, we create a character-building experience that draws on more than 100 years of North American camp tradition. For English learners, our activity-based program lets campers get in on the action without textbooks or stuffy classrooms. Before they even realize it, campers will be using simple English words and phrases. We help campers build confidence in hearing and producing English in a fun, supportive environment. In 2014, English Adventure will serve over 1500 campers-thank you so much for your support! In 2015, we plan to offer our signature 5-day program at our first Kansai camp location. As a public interest incorporated association, the Club also proudly serves the local community. Located on a hilltop in the historic Yamate district of Yokohama, the YC & AC's spacious grounds include a full-size multi-purpose sports field, seven tennis courts, an open-air swimming pool, a gymnasium, two squash courts, a fitness center, a lawn bowls green, a bowling alley and a billiards room. Experience Kyoto's traditional lifestyle in a luxuriously restored Machiya In the last decades, the traditional cityscape and Machiya house of Kyoto have been disappearing at an alarming rate. Recently, restoration if Kyoto Machiya as galleries and cafes has become popular, but their original use as homes grows increasingly rare. All of our Machiya, acquired old Kyo-Machiya (traditional Kyoto house), kept the Original structure, restore them beautifully, and offer to stay comfortably. In this way we would like to provide the traditional Kyoto living experience. Iori Co. manages Machiya houses in the heart of Kyoto. At present we has 10 different Machiya houses in central Kyoto. Ranging in size from cozy house- perfect romantic hide-away for couples, for big group-multiple inner gardens and space to accommodate a party of 14 people comfortably. World Riichi Championship Mahjong

Riichi means “Japanese mahjong” and is the rule set commonly played in Japan, but quickly gaining players and fans across the globe. World Riichi Championship (WRC) is the official and only authority for the WRC Rules. WRC Rules are an international standard rule set officially adopted by main national organizations and groups, including by professional organizations in its home of Japan. The World Riichi Championship is an event run every three years in locations across the globe, bringing amateur and professional players to battle it out over the mahjong tiles for the title of World Riichi Champion. To date, two events have been run at locations in Paris, France and Las Vegas, United States in 2014 and 2017 respectively. The next event is scheduled for 26th-30th 2020 in Vienna, Austria and more information will be available at closer to the event.
