I am a highly motivated information management professional with over ten years of experience leading the implementation of information management programs in complex emergencies in multiple countries; I have academic/professional training health information management, emergency preparedness and response, cluster coordination and human rights and conflict management. Some memorable achievements I have recorded include setting up database for acute flaccid paralysis surveillance in South Sudan, coordination of supplementary immunization activities in South Sudan, setting up information management system in Somalia to respond to the drought in Somalia, provided information management support the WHO and the health sector to country office in Armenia to respond to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I possess strong experience in emergency preparedness, humanitarian programme cycle, and currently managing the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (PHEOC) for the emergency department of the World Health Regional Office for Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMRO). With over ten (10) years’ experience at the international level with WHO and other international NGOs plus nine (9) years domestic experience, gives me a solid understanding of the United Nations Coordination Mechanism as well as the skills for working in complex political environments with restricted humanitarian access.
