About Anthony Knotts

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and came to know Christ at a summer church camp when I was twelve. It was there that I began to turn my prayers into music. I began leading worship at a small town church when I was 14, which came about mainly because there was no one else to serve. From there I joined the Air Force, and had the honor of playing trumpet for my BMT graduation ceremony. I view all talent as gifts on loan to us from God, for the purpose of glorifying Him. I've been blessed to grow those gifts through practice and His leading. I now can play 24 different instruments, transpose music on the fly, connect with the worship community through songwriting platforms such as CCLI and digital distribution, reference an effective understanding of Christian theological principles to select cross-generational worship music for the church body, and develop and implement effective strategies and tools to serve the church in worship. I wear many hats, as I am a family man, a pastor, a worshiper, a songwriter/artist, and a friend. I want to see the church continue to expand the boundaries of worship, both in our services and our personal walk with Christ. As far as experience goes, here is what I have to offer- BS in Worship Studies from Liberty University - Ordained Christian Minister in good standing with the church - 20+ years of experience leading worship in various capacities- Experience preaching at camps, church services, and chapel services- Proficient on guitar (acoustic/electric/bass), drums, vocals, saxophone, and more - Independent contemporary Christian songwriter with original works being used in multiple churches - Original music licensed with CCLI and available to churches globally - Former career work in a wide variety of relatable marketplaces, including Marketing and Writing
