I am driven professional with over 05 years of experience in providing career advising, mentoring and placement services in public and non-profit organizations. Highly skilled in providing constructive feedback and support on career exploration and decision making. Demonstrated success in helping clients with diverse barriers and skills to accomplish short-term career goals. Currently working in a BC Provincial Government funded project aimed to provide employment coaching support with skilled training to the vulnerable population of Canada including Persons with Disability and Survivors of Domestic Violence, to help them manage sustainable employment goals. Making a career transition or even initiating in professional life is not so easy because it comes with challenges like-Fear of the unknown path -Recognizing transferable skillset -Difficulty in creating new professional network -Loss in conviction for the career change because of the peer pressure My ability to asses candidate's strengths and barriers, mentoring with emotional intelligence, and supporting them in crafting and following the action plan, helps them to make the successful career transition. My services support my clients to create a new professional network, confidently present their skills set to the other professionals and communicate what they can bring to the company despite being a newbie. Developing trustworthy bond with the client will brace them to see themselves succeeding in practically productive manner after the course ends. Hearing from my clients getting a paid position is the most satisfactory part of my job. This is the marvelous part of my job profile where I see that my efforts impacted people's lives in a constructive manner. I am glad to be in a profession, where I strive to make things happen in service of other people.
