Hi, I’m April! I’ve spent over ten years working in both academic and professional soccer, focusing on building programs that make a real difference for athletes and their communities. As a former pro player, head coach, and Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Famer, I’m passionate about the game and bring a lot of hands-on experience. My strength is creating and growing community-driven programs with a big focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. I’ve worked closely with local groups, schools, staff, and volunteers to help more people get involved in sport by making it more accessible and welcoming. I’m a natural team player who enjoys collaborating and leading in a way that makes everyone feel valued. I’m all about building strong partnerships, supporting young athletes, and leading high-performing teams. I’m known for being approachable, fair, and good at handling tough situations with care and professionalism. I’m driven by the belief that sport can bring people together and create positive change in communities across Canada.
