About Arthur P.

Firstly, my personal and professional purpose in life is realizing human potential through relationships and technology. This has set the anchor for my career and focus over the last 20 years. During this time, I have worked principally at the intersection of Design & Education. My functional domain focus has centered on design thinking and customer experience and building capability in these domains. Most of my experience in these areas has been through working with innovative businesses in science and technology across Germany, the United States of America and New Zealand. This includes businesses such as Siemens Healthcare, Siemens Diagnostics, ASB Bank, the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand, New Zealand e-Science Infrastructure, the Employers and Manufacturers’ Association and New Zealand Labour Party. My Design practice has a focus on connecting people, bringing diverse knowledge and world views together to solve complex problems amid accelerating technology-driven disruption & climate change. I leverage my professional background in Instructional Design (MSc) and Disruptive Technology (Singularity University) by deploying my Design practice experience and skills to focus on Service Design, Framework Development and Process Research. As a passionate and experienced facilitator, I have led workshops and collaborative sessions globally with diverse audiences, from academia, corporates and as peer with veteran innovators from some of the world’s most exciting businesses (Bell Labs, Apple, Xerox PARC, MIT Media Lab, Microsoft, NASA Ames Research Center, Google, Stanford d.School, Ford Motor Company, IBM, Yamaha, and NGK among others). I’ve even worked in Antarctica, the Southern, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. Personally, I have a passion for emerging technology and science that has real commercial application (coaching, strategy, framework development and advice are part of the offerings).
