About Aryn Lisitza

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist (p7223) working in both the private and public sector. I work primarily with neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD, autism, giftedness, and learning disabilities as well as the associated mental health challenges across the lifespan. As a facilitator, I both lead and co-facilitate social-emotional skills programs in schools for kiddos aged 8-13 with learning and social-emotional challenges. Most recently, I am turning my attention to helping with trauma and people who live with chronic health conditions. I have extensive research experience both within a collaborative interdisciplinary research team and as an independent researcher. I recently completed my graduate thesis at the intersection of ADHD and giftedness and have since taken on a position as a Research Associate focusing on gifted students' transition into post-secondary education. Outside of being a counsellor and researcher, I take a strong advocacy role in the MS community, working to help innovate and fund emerging MS research through my role as executive director of MS Hope. On my own time, I like to read, salsa dance, hike, and connect often with friends and family!
