About Asha Chan

A dedicated individual with over five years of experience including working in short and long term cross culture environments. Passionate about youth and young women receiving fair and equal opportunity leading them to excel in all facets of life began from the 10 years I spent as a mentor for youth and young women of colour. Providing a safe space, personalized learning solutions and edifying personal development programs to see more than 50 individuals flourish. In addition, as a resident case worker with Elizabeth Fry Society and a hotline response agent with the Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline, I have utilized and further developed my abilities to provide victim centered support by being trauma informed, administering safety plans and supporting emotional and mental health. My ability to assess and evaluate different situations has helped me to appropriately manage crisis situations that arise so that individuals feel supported.
