About Ashi Agarwal

I love Science and constantly learning new things. My passion for science was instilled in school by my science teacher who I worship. I would sit on the first bench engrossed in everything she had to say. The best thing was she wouldnt stick to the syllabus and talk about anything and everything science. I just knew I had to be a Scientist. I also have a passion for helping people in any possible way I can. I got the best of both worlds by being a researcher in a Biotech company. My work as a Principal Research Associate in the Formulation and Process Development group at Sanofi allows me to apply my knowledge from my Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences. I am highly motivated to work on projects with complete dedication. I love working in a challenging and fast-paced environment. I am working on formulations and stability studies of antibodies along with the process development for liquid and lyophilized parenteral. I am actively working on tech transfer of processes to internal manufacturing sites as well as external CMOs. Another integral part of my projects is the in-use study that helps me understand the patient-centricity of my profession. I find it very interesting to work on case studies that come up with respect to the projects I am working on. As a person who loves to organize and communicate I have played a key role in organizing a conference in my company (virtual of course). I enjoy talking to people from the industry and learning from their experience. I believe you can always learn something new and find something motivating in every conversation. I am also in the Party Planning Committee of my team organizing meet ups and group activities.
