Responsible for MRP and system based procurement of quality consumables and automotive parts as per indents/production plan to ensure Zero line stoppage (Ensuring 100% timely availability of parts) • Responsible for entire co-ordination and follow ups with cross functional teams and suppliers to ensure correct delivery of parts as per schedule at right time, right cost and right quality to end user. • Expertise in implementing cost saving measures to achieve substantial reduction in terms of man days, production cost, raw materials and energy consumption. • Initiated the material forecasting system based on linear model and moving average of monthly consumption method for consumable materials. • Structured the inventory policy and fixed Max / Min, reorder points, EOQ and safety stock level for each items. • Responsible for P to P (Purchase order to Payment) process for indirect materials. • Responsible for Vendor rating, vendor evaluation, costing, price settlement, negotiations. • Responsible for BOM verification & system correction based on physical consumption. • Responsible for inventory and logistics management by proper planning of parts based on consumption pattern. • Responsible for Premium freight reductions / savings through alternative sourcing / Value engineering. • Responsible for development of common systems (standardisation of system), supporting concepts and procedures.
