About Ashlea Barrett

Since I can remember I have told my family I was going to be a doctor. Twenty-some years later and I can say that that goal is closer than ever, even if it was adjusted to be a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I enjoy getting the chance to work with people and it shows in some of the jobs I have worked in. I am currently working as a beverage cart attendant at a golf course and as a front desk assistant/tech of a Physical Therapist's office. Before these positions, I was a hairstylist and I loved getting the chance to create a unique hairstyle for each guest. While doing hair, I was reminded of my passion to help people with more than their looks. I want the chance to teach people how to be healthier versions of themselves with little to no limitations in their lives as they age. I look forward to continuing my education while working in the field and committing myself to teaching others the most current evidence-based techniques.
