About Brian Washington

Primary experience and interest is in orthopedic manual physical therapy, with clinical education with Dr. Robert Duvall at Sports Med of Atlanta with focus on direct access and regional interdependence, and further experience with residency style orthopedic manual therapy training at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi Mississippi with EIM trained CI's. Currently employed in high volume outpatient orthopedic setting in West Virginia, with direct access experience with local high school athletes, and patient population ranging all socioeconomic backgrounds. Clinical education included introductory dry needling, and rigorous differential diagnosis training focused on advancing the profession of PT in direct access roles and as diagnosticians. Currently seeking Mentorship to improve my Orthopedic Manual therapy skills and diagnosis, with additional training on Dry needling. Passionate about patient education and improving the healthcare opportunities of underprivileged and underserved populations. Passionate multi-sport outdoor adventure athlete, with strong interest in clinical education of future PT students.
