About Ashlee Bevan
I am currently the homeroom First Grade teacher at Bucklin Elementary, but teach first and second grade math and science. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Elementary Education through Fort Hays State University. Previously, I was the full-time, district-wide substitute in Bucklin. In this role I managed classrooms day-to-day for the licensed teacher when he/she was absent. This role gave me classroom experience with all age groups and content (Pre-K through 12th grade). No two days ever looked alike in that position. I realized what a difference teachers can make in a child's life. I've previously assisted with the management of a non-profit organization in rural Kansas through grant writing and grant reporting, carrying out projects/programs, managing the website and all social media accounts, and completing necessary monthly accounting and financial data entries. I completed a Certified Non-Profit Accounting Professional (CNAP) training in July 2018.
