About Ashley Fiore

I have worked with CACs throughout my 30-year professional career as a clinician, clinical director, program manager, trainer, and consultant. I am a developer-endorsed, nationally certified trainer in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Alternatives for Families Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT) who has assessed and treated over children and families. I learned flexibility and humility from the many families who graciously taught me so much. Most importantly, I learned how to have fun while doing the hard work of helping children and their caregivers heal from trauma. I bring gratitude for that experience, authenticity, and vulnerability into every training and consultation I offer. Prior to joining NCA, I served as clinical faculty for the North Carolina Child Treatment Program, where I trained TF-CBT and provided individual and group consultation to clinicians using a learning collaborative model. I created resources and offered training and consultation on trauma-informed comprehensive clinical assessments, trauma-related problematic sexual behaviors in children, and implementation support of evidence-based treatment models. I am passionate about implementation and dissemination of evidence-based, trauma focused, child/family interventions - helping organizations align their practices to help clinicians balance model fidelity and flexibility, work efficiently while achieving best outcomes, and create engaging, sustainable workplaces.
