Prior to this I held a key role with GlaxoSmithKline as Programme & Project Manager (Aug 2011 to Nov 2017) spearheading delivery of a series of transformational projects and programmes, including systems migrations, implementation and post-M&A migration / exit initiatives. Career Highlights - Led delivery of strategically targeted Low Voltage Monitoring equipment into thousands of substations in readiness for the rapid uptake of low carbon technologies, including electric vehicles and heat pumps- Delivery of Optimise Prime - the world’s largest trial of commercial electric vehicles (EVs) to understand the impact of commercial EVs on distribution networks- Drove solution delivery of Power Potential – a world first smart grid system establishing a new reactive power market, enabling energy companies to generate additional capacity for local distribution systems- Led the launch of GSK’s Consumer Business Trading Services Company as a key enabler for central stock ownership delivering 95% reduction in invoice processing, stock owning entities reduced from 70 to one, and 40% reduction in tax / customs processing costs.
