About Ashley McCormick

As the Endorsement and Communications Director at Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health (AAIMH), I oversee and manage the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement Program, which sets the workforce development standards for professionals working with or on behalf of pregnant people, infants, children, and families, especially those facing adversity. I have more than five years of experience in this role, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and an Infant Mental Health Mentor - Clinical. I am passionate about promoting and supporting the endorsement program across 35 states, and I have created, developed, and led the pilot for the Endorsement Coordination Central Service, which provides operational and administrative support to participating states in both English and Spanish. This initiative has grown the program from 3 to 13 states in 3 years and comprised over 30% of annual revenue. I also supervise and direct a team of 7 endorsement coordinators and staff/contractors, and I use my skills in program direction, career and education, and databases to implement internal team procedures, conduct performance appraisals, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. My mission is to collaborate with nonprofits and other stakeholders to advance the field of infant mental health and foster positive outcomes for children and families.
