About Ashli Tingle

I am a passionate gamer with intermediate Japanese language skills who has turned my passion into a career in the tech industry. After graduating with a double-major in Cinema and Japanese in 2008,I started out as a QA Tester at Sony Computer Entertainment America in 2009. After I left Sony I went back to school to earn my M.S. in Management with a Project Management emphasis before working for Sega of America in 2010. In 2012 I moved out of the console industry to learn agile testing methods at web developer Zynga. My experience from there led me to Linden Lab, where I worked for over seven years. Though not a gaming company, they are innovators in virtual worlds and creative spaces. After Linden Lab I landed at Ubiquity6, an AR-focused startup that specialized in editing real-life spaces using augmented reality. Now, I've come full-circle back to the console gaming space at Ubisoft, where I went from a contract tester to the DevTest Team Lead, my first QA Lead position.Specialities: Database entry, quality assurance testing, Japanese, scrum/agile meetings, Kanban, JIRA, Confluence, Grafana, Jenkins, GitLab, test plan creation, Google Docs.
