About Audley Stephenson

Audley Stephenson is a dynamic and energetic individual known for his positive attitude, optimistic viewpoint on life, and his passion for encouraging people to pursue the things they love. He’s a thought leader and expert on the connection between audaciousness and personal success and happiness. Born and raised in a culturally diverse community in Toronto, Canada, Audley developed a deep appreciation for different perspectives and a strong work ethic from an early age. His insatiable curiosity for life and encouraging and supportive nature led him to pursue life skills coaching certification, where he’s made it his focus to help others develop their inner audaciousness. In his coaching practice, he focuses on assisting men to unlock the secrets of successful personal relationships while audaciously living life to the fullest. A fun-loving family man, Audley has had an extensive career in public service that spans over 25 years, working with various levels of government in a variety of leadership roles, ranging from project management, stakeholder engagement, contract negotiations, and strategic partnership building, to name a few. Being a former NBA credentialed podcaster gives Audley strong connections with the media and broadcasting industry, having covered the NBA through a popular five-season podcast called “The Breakdown with Dave and Audley” that launched in 2008, long before the explosion of podcasts. He is currently producing his sixth one, called “The Audacious Living Podcast,” publishing over 500 episodes to date. In 2011, the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) introduced itself to the world, and Audley joined them during their inaugural season as a volunteer and was quickly appointed to Director of Publicity, Promotions, and Content Strategy, with a focus on developing and executing the league’s engagement strategy, which included its stakeholder outreach plan. In 2017, the league board of directors unanimously appointed Audley to the position of Commissioner, allowing him to extend his leadership skills further. In addition to managing a team of staff, Audley was responsible for the administration and management of all league/basketball day-to-day and game day operations, as well as the execution of the league’s brand and community initiatives. Under Audley’s leadership, the league experienced exponential growth, attracting top-tier players and securing vital partnerships, and his ability to foster a culture of creativity.
