About Aurelio Bonasera

I am an accomplished Chemist, with a broad background ranging from Organic Synthesis, Materials Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Photochemistry, and Computational Chemistry. I have a strong experience in small molecules design/ isolation/ purification/ characterization; my profile is complemented by a solid expertise concerning photochromic molecules, carbonaceous nanoforms, hybrid materials, and the fabrication of organic electronics. Most of my professional life has been spent as Chemical Researcher in Academic institutions around Europe, where I had the chance to consolidate my background, sharpen my skills, prove myself and contribute to the success of my team in achieving our common goals. The second chapter of my professional life focused on the Agro-Food Industry, where I gained practical insights into private chemistry laboratory routine and got confidence with the challenges and needs of a non-research context. Today, my new role as Technical Sales Consultant gives me the opportunity to put my expertise at service of such laboratories, who face the everyday challenge of delivering accurate analysis in short time, with respect of high quality standards. Such long journey to help deliver solutions and support other scientists like me to meet their goals and provide reliable results, not numbers.
