About Avijit Saha

Working as a Programme & Partnership Coordinator (Education) of a2i Programme implemented by Cabinet Division & ICT Division Government of Bangladesh supported by UNDP Bangladesh. Mr. Avijit Saha completed his post-graduation in Non-Formal and Continuing Education and graduated in Social Science Education from the Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka. Mr. Avijit is leading the biggest online portal for teachers in Bangladesh “Teachers Portal” and Teacher's Guide application. He has been working on it's continuous development in line of implementing Smart Education ecosystem for Smart Bangladesh. Focused Areas:* Blended Teaching Learning * Digital Content * Educational Technology and Innovation * Teachers Professional Development * Education 4.0 * Policy Guideline Development * Proficiency on Programme Design, Procurement and Financial Management Mr. Avijit is also playing pioneer role for enhancement of Digital Monitoring System formerly known as Multimedia Classroom Monitoring System which is now being implemented by Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Bangladesh with the technical support from ICT Division. He is now solely working in Future of Education team under his supervisor Md. Afzal Hossain Sarwar, Policy Analyst (Educational Innovation), a2i Programme, ICT Division. Additionally, Mr. Saha worked as an Educational Consultant with The World Bank Group on restructuring of SEDP under Ministry of Education, Bangladesh and Majorly focusing on teachers' capacity development, teachers' virtual training and research.
