Ayesha Saeed is a photographer and maker, living and working in Lahore, Pakistan. Saeed works predominantly in the medium of photography, but she trawls for data of various kinds. She understands and articulates the content of her practice as questions of form, materiality and perception generated from an information system she creates, when her elaborate systems fail that’s when her photograph appears or the elements for her to work with. She launched a first project of Saeed Research Studio, called 'The Place - THP' in Lahore ( Nov. It aims to be a space of positivity and solution. It is a platform to think, search, create and exhibit not just for adults but also for kids as we wish to equip them with practical skills and innovation from the very start. THP encourages people from diverse fields such as medicine, arts, architecture, design, robotics, etc. to come together and work with THP's four active spaces ie. THP Gallery, THP Bindery, THP Book Shop & THP Tiffin.
