About Aziz Dindar

I am an experienced business and corporate services professional with a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry, consulting and not for profit sectors. My experience spans four different continents (and many more countries). I have a strong background in business and corporate services, finance, budgeting, governance, compliance, procurement, property, contract management and negotiation, cost efficiency, SAP ERP, project management and systems implementation and statutory and government reporting. I focus on people and team to maintain strategic relationships, provide advice and achieve outcomes and deliver exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders and clients. My experience is at a senior management level, reporting to Executive Management and the Board (including Audit, Risk and Finance Committees) as well as with senior members of Federal Government Departments and I have extensive experience leading teams in pressured and disrupted environments and managing multiple stakeholders and teams at various different levels. I was brought up as a “non-white” in apartheid South Africa as well as being a practising Muslim, so have always relied on tolerance and patience in my dealings and interactions with people. I pride myself on my dealings with people and my relationship management and being there for my team and colleagues and have earned the respect and trust of my peers and colleagues. I have participated in Leadership and Development Programs, mentored staff, delivered training, successfully managed and implemented cultural change within teams and consistently received peer recognition and awards during my career but am most proud at seeing the growth, cross-skilling and development in members of my and other teams.
