You’ve been hired at a great company. You are gifted and talented. You even went to art school and/or have professional training. Yet, something is missing. Your current job is no longer fulfilling. Those few are exemplars. You can’t help but notice these individuals. What do they do that you don’t? Nietzsche says this, “You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.” However, across time, cultures, philosophy, & science there are a few things that we can do to help us on our path. Ancient wisdom + modern science tells us that by focusing on virtues, fundamentals, & tiny habits we will have a higher probability to live your ideal life. Now, if you truly want to live your ideal life, then you need to know what the hell that is. Like heart & soul level. Then, you need to know what are the obstacles & the dragons you will have to stare down along your path? Finally, get to work!"One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth. Growth must be chosen again & again; fear must be overcome again and again."- Abraham Maslow “Fall down seven times, stand up eight.” Is an old Japanese proverb that means choosing to never give up hope. Your focus isn't on the reality in front of you, but on a greater vision that may not be reality yet. I’m giving you permission to dream again, to really think about what you are longing for & own it. I’m giving you permission to find your confidence, take back hope & get excited about your future again! In six weeks I can help you turn it around, build you up, or push through whatever is in your way. Where will you be in six weeks if you keep doing the same shit day in and day out?
