About Babul Aktar

I am a seasoned development professional with over 17 years of expertise in project and training management, with a focus on livelihood & food security, Climate Smart Agriculture. Currently serving as a Feed & Fodder System Specialist with ACDI/VOCA, I bring extensive experience working with renowned INGOs( Heifer Intl. DAI, UNDP, BRAC Intl.) and donors such as the EU, USAID, DFID, WB, UNDP, and others. My technical skills encompass Research, FFS facilitation, human rights and justice, entrepreneurship, and humanitarian interventions. I excel in project design, implementation, and management, having led initiatives that address rural poverty by ensuring access to innovative technologies and services. My leadership includes managing teams of over 120 staff across multiple field offices, overseeing HR, procurement, budgeting, project implementation and administrative operations. I am proficient in developing training materials (BCC/ICC modules, guidelines, video content), preparing DIPs and training plans, conducting TNA, and delivering hands-on training to both staff and community members. I have successfully coordinated with PNGOs, established strategic partnerships, and delivered operational guidance to enhance project outcomes. Academically, I hold a graduation and post-graduation degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University, further strengthening my capacity to deliver impactful and innovative solutions in the development sector and have oversees experience in developing sector.
