This is my typical professional profile but I'm about so much more. I'm the wife to a special person who teaches me everyday to not take life too seriously, and the mother of an amazing neurodiverse boy who has taught me in life there are no one size fits all answers whether it's learning, leadership styles or ways of working. We are all unique and that's what makes the world so interesting. And a sense of humour doesn't hurt either! In addition I have strong values rooted in trust and honesty. Being transparent and one's authentic self is so important to me. Walking the talk is also very important. Whether it's leading by example or rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty when it matters really resonates with me. Taking a vested interest in those around me are core to my values. Whether it's family, friends, neighbours, colleagues or employees I respect getting to know and support the true person. This takes work and time but pays dividends when someone feels truly understood and supported. Working for leaders and a company that mirror my values are crucial for me. I've worked for some exemplary leaders during my career who have done just that. It is truly inspiring when you can find a company and/or leader who are fully aligned with your values. In general, I work hard and will give anything I work on my all. However, I don't believe in taking life too seriously. Taking time for a good laugh and things you enjoy in life are equally important too!
