About Barry Forth

My career journey has been anything but conventional, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable experience leading teams and organizing events of all sizes, with a highlight being my volunteer role as the frontman for my hometown’s victory in Kraft Hockeyville 2010. That pivotal experience took me on a seven-year detour from the family business, during which I served as a Director at Wasserman—one of the world’s leading sports marketing agencies—where I managed RBC's global golf sponsorship portfolio and more. After countless flights and train rides, I felt the pull to return home to Copetown Woods, our family-owned and operated public golf course. I've always been an "ideas guy," and being back means I have the freedom to dream up and execute ideas. The saying,"a camel is a horse built by committee," resonates with me—here, there are no committees, just plenty of horses! The approach is straightforward: if an idea can generate revenue, enhance the guest experience, or improve efficiency for our team—we go for it. And if it works? Fantastic. If not? We pivot and try something new. What’s next? Ask me tomorrow!
