About Barry Jones

Barry is a values driven, authentic and visionary leader who is passionate about working restoratively and compassionately with people to develop relationships and partnerships that get from talk to action and improve lives. Barry is an independent consultant with over 18 years of leadership and operational experience in the public sector in children’s and adults services including SEND, Care Leavers, Children Looked After, Connexions, programme management, strategy and commissioning. For the past 5 years he has been part of the National Preparing for Adulthood Team, as the North East and North West regional PfA facilitator, part of the facilitation team for the SEND national leadership training, and a proud supporter of the Time to Talk Next Steps Programme. Barry also works with Jo and delivers Training in Systematic Instruction (TSI) to individuals and teams who support people with additional needs to lead good lives: being independent and having a good job.
