About Bart Doyen

I am an enthusiastic and methodical occupational health physician with a PhD in Medicine. In my practice, I aim to employ a holistic and evidence-based methodology, that emphasizes the human side of healthcare. Additionally, I support employers in developing comprehensive, preventive health policies through purposeful interactions and robust multidisciplinary collaboration, which I believe are crucial. I am currently most active as an occupational physician in the healthcare sector. This allows me to nurture my areas of interest, including disability case management, radiation safety, and maternity protection. I am also a member of the scientific/knowledge cell of Cohezio, where I contribute to the supervision and support of master's thesis studies for physicians in training. Additionally, I am pursuing a postgraduate degree in radiation protection at KU Leuven, which will enhance my knowledge and skills in this field. Outside my professional activities, I have a passion for Japanese culture, which I explore through language learning, culinary experiences, and travel. Engaging with this rich culture provides a refreshing balance to my professional life and enhances my global perspective.
