About Becky Addison

I work within the Medical Negligence Teams at Brabners. In the medical negligence field, I act for clients who have suffered injuries that have arisen from negligent care in a variety of healthcare settings — such as GPs, NHS Trusts, private hospitals, dental practices, pharmacies and care homes — as well as defendant healthcare providers, where I advise on a claims brought against them. The matters that I investigate and advise on include birth and gynaecological trauma, surgical and post-operative negligence, orthopaedic injuries, ophthalmology, delay in diagnosis and treatment, brain and spinal cord injuries and amputations, as well as a range of catastrophic injuries that may result from workplace accidents or accidents occurring in public (including dog bite attacks). While taking a caring and reassuring approach, I extensively investigate every case to consider its prospect of success. If this is high, I robustly pursue the case to obtain the best possible outcome in terms of accountability, justice and financial compensation. Our team’s pro bono work has received positive feedback from The Law Society. I am able to signpost clients and their families to additional services that offer financial and emotional support during what can be one of the most daunting, stressful and worrying times in their lives.
